In January 2020 the seventh annual Italian Film Festival returns to Vancity Theatre. Curated by Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre and VIFF, Vancouver Italian Film Festival brings together the best in recent Italian cinema with sidebars showcasing the rich legacy of the past, including prize-winning films from the recent TIFF and the Venice Film Festivals, a centennial tribute to Federico Fellini, a three-movie spotlight on the giallo genre of thrillers that flourished from the mid-60s into the 80s, and many more.
I was tasked with creating the sizzle reel and supporting ads for social media. The sizzle reel ran both online and cinema during the lead-up to the series.
